How it Works
As our consumers, customers, and suppliers become more diverse every day, our success will depend on our ability to work effectively and creatively with our customers and suppliers to meet the needs of our consumers across all ethnic groups and markets. We value every idea on how we can make a delicious difference for our consumers and create job opportunities for people in our communities, and we do that by facilitating the success in the marketplace for both Mondelēz International and our suppliers.
At Mondelēz International, supplier diversity is not just a social responsibility to do good for our communities, it is a competitive advantage to capture and retain the loyalty of a growing consumer market audience. We would like to maximize procurement opportunities with minority- and women-owned businesses and build up a long-term partnership with our suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors of goods and services.
To further build our supplier diversity success, Mondelēz International is also asking our major suppliers to help us meet our long-term objectives of increasing spending and business opportunities with women, LGBTQ, Disabled Veterans and minority-owned businesses. To foster this growth commitment, we are implementing a robust tier two program. We request our major suppliers to report their spending with minority, LGBTQ, Disabled Veterans and women-owned businesses. If you are a minority, LGBTQ, Disabled Veterans and/or woman-owned business interested in becoming a supplier to Mondelēz International, the supplier diversity program is your entry point to start this conversation. We welcome you to first register with us.
